After we remodeled our home with hand scraped hardwood floors and new paint, we were completely lost as to how we go about the interior decoration to complement all the work we had done. That is when we found Priyanka and she was truly god send. Priyanka was such a pleasure to work with and the results were truly fantastic. Priyanka helped us with our painting project recently. It was my first time working with her. She asked us about the kind of change we were looking for in the color scheme. She then guided us by pointing out the various other factors we should consider that would impact the choice of colors, like the natural light, color of the furniture and the flow and height of the walls and the ambience they would finally create. After we picked the colors she also advised us to paint a patch in more than one place before we finalized. She came over to check the project while it was underway and also on the last day, which was a big help. She has helped us pick the colors we are happy with. Priyanka has an amazing sense of colors and a great taste and knowledge in interior designing. Her goal is to make her clients feel comfortable and happy with the project in the long run. What’s most important is that she spends the necessary time with her clients to achieve this goal. Priyanka helped us on two different occasions. In our previous home she helped us pick out coordinated wall colors for our entire house. Her suggested color palette worked really well with our existing furnishings and we loved the way our home looked after the refresh. In our new home Priyanka helped put together a design plan. Along with the furniture layout and the key pieces needed to complete the room she also suggested the color scheme, rugs, wall art, accessories etc. Her ideas helped me jump start my decorating project. We wanted a dry bar area in our new home but didn’t have a designated space for it. So we decided to knock down the wall between the butlers pantry and a small closet and converted the area into a dry bar. We knew what we wanted but didn’t know how to execute the idea. Before moving to our new home we decided to do major remodelling for kitchen, bathroom, painting walls and various other things. We had a good idea of what the result ought to look like but the process got difficult to maneuver. This is where Priyanka came to our rescue. She is an artist and has an eye for colors. She created blends for wall that look beautiful, colors I would never have thought to use. She was very respectful for our likes, needs and budget while navigating the creativity. I really appreciate that she never led us in a direction that would take us over our budget. She artfully arranged and used art, furniture, etc that we had collected over the years and loved.
